Warranty

All vanities now have a 2 Year Warranty on the Tops  & 1 Year Warranty on Cabinets. This is against faulty workmanship not people scratching or damaging them.

Moisture Resistant MDF

The board used in our vanities is Moisture Resistant (MR) Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF).  MDF is a uniform density panel with a fine and smooth surface ideal for painting, cutting, machining and drilling without splinters or chipping.  It is tested against swelling prior to fabrication.   The quality of board used is E1 Grade, which is one of the highest grade boards available. 

E0 or E1 grade board has zero emission from the board. The resins used are therefore more environmentally friendly.  Environmentally, all particle board and MDF is made from plantation, fast growing trees, making the board used an environmentally sustainable product.  It should be noted that moisture resistant board is moisture resistant and not water proof. It would not be used to build a boat.  

Prior to manufacturing our vanities, a simple test of the board is carried out by submerging  a piece of board in cold water for 1 hour.  It is then removed and left for 24 hours.  It should only thicken very slightly, where as standard board will expand substantially.  The moisture resistant board has more resins and glue and has a green dye to distinguish it from the standard board.
